The next magic system isn't blending smoothly with my current worldbuilding so I'll be posting only the next two chapters in the next two weeks. I might not post again until November or December. I'm almost done with the entire book, but now that I'm seeing what needs to be edited, a lot of the worldbuilding I put in the earlier chapters doesn't match up in the chapters I'll be writing moving forward. I plan to rewrite and edit earlier chapters after I finish the remaining ones just so I don't lose the momentum. The goal is to finish the 12th draft by December.

I finally figured out the basic magic system for Malaya, which I promise I'll fix in the earlier chapters when I finish writing the entire book. I'm afraid to start editing now and lose all writing momentum—which quite frankly was what made me give up on the first 11 drafts of this story. :p

Malaya is becoming a little bit political, and it scares me a little bit. I knew when I mapped it out that it would show some political stances on all kinds of equality—gender, race, citizenship, but I never expected it to be this exciting. Overall the story surprises me in all the best and wonderful ways. I hope you stay with me on this journey!
