I'm taking THE DELIVERER'S DESTINY off of Wattpad.
"But the Wattys!" ... aren't exactly what I want. It took me a while to realize it, but Wattpad... it's a great site, but for most, it's a dead end. I can't put my work on here and just hope that one day someone will come along and whisk me out of the masses and make me and my books great. It's unrealistic. It's not at all how this works.
So, while I am leaving Magenta on Wattpad for the remainder of the Watty's, I will be taking The Deliverer's Destiny off, save for a few sample chapters, tomorrow morning (October 13). I always knew I would be removing TDD from Wattpad by the end of 2020, but recent ponderings and realizations have driven me to remove it now. I can't sit around and wait for this contest to be over, hoping maybe my books will be noticed, ESPECIALLY when I don't even know if Wattpad Publishing is the road I want to take with my books at all. Magenta, maybe, but my fantasy novels? Not really. Maybe I'm crazy, but I want to carve my own trail, find my own way, be my own publisher.
And maybe I'll fail. But then... maybe I won't.
If you'd like to support me in my endeavours, head on over to https://missunmotivated.com - I have my blog there. No money required in signing up for updates on it. I write up some good writing tips and stories and such, and I expect to be expanding on there a lot more in the future.
If you would like to support me even more, you can head on over to this link ( https://www.lulu.com/en/us/shop/sara-jolene/the-deliverers-destiny/paperback/product-kkw777.html ) and actually buy The Deliverer's Destiny off of Lulu. If you order before October 16th, I believe they have a 10% discount on all the printed orders, so that's a pretty great deal (the code is LULUFAM10).
As always, I hope your NaNo projects are going well, that your reading list is full yet not stressfully crammed, and that all you Canadians have a blessed Thanksgiving Day.
