so sorry for slow updates and replies, guys! I’ve had a busy couple of weeks between working through some mental health changes and other boring medical shenanigans, an itty bitty car accident (just dropped my car off to get fixed so fingers crossed she’ll be salvageable!), and visiting family out of town for the last week! So I am just going to copy paste my comment: I wanna tell you that the things you are making me feel in this chapter should be fucking illegal, it’s been a rollercoaster. I love the way you are portraying Cassian, the way you’re making him feel so deep and complex, because a lot of people makes him really simple-minded like he’s a thin piece of paper and I hate that. He is a war general for god sake. Apart from this, I also wanted to tell you that I think Az is gonna blow a fuse when he hears about this. I imagine it in my head and I burst out laughing. omg thank you for this comment!! I adore cass and I think he has so much going on in his head all the time. everything he says/does feels very intentional. I’m so happy you’re liking his portrayal in my story! he makes light-hearted jokes, sure, but you’re right—this man leads night’s armies, and I think he’s really intelligent! I feel like SJM says he’s a general more than she shows it, but with the kind of fantasy romance that ACOTAR is, she’s obviously not going to write him doing his responsibilities all day, every day, because that’s not the focus of the plot lol. but I WANT to see more of that so bad!!! I want more cass third-person pov’s in the books but I know that probably isn’t what SJM has planned. :,)

Well… I love that you “accidentally “ changed the plot. Who doesn’t like a triad between these two? And I know that I comment a lot about you, giving a hard time to Az but girl? The slow burn?? hiii! wattpad comments have been acting up for me too recently! :/ screaming at me is totally justified LOL. the angst is killing me and I’m kicking myself for the slow-burn being so slow because I want to write them in love so bad. I will make it up to azriel, I swear! it was originally supposed to be an azriel fic only if you can even believe it…but cassian was right there and he’s my favorite, so I accidentally changed the whole plot. OOPS! and thank you so much! I’m all better now! september was cursed, hahaha. thank you for all your comments and I vow to make everything up to azriel, trust me. ;)

i finished reading kingdom of ash on april 27, 2023 and think of tog every day of my life and cry about it once a week at least. HELP!!! my wellbutrin and lexapro are not powerful enough for this hell.
