Imagine that you're a lion. You're hungry, and you soon find some meat. You come closer to eat it, not knowing that a hunter is waiting in the bushes. As you eat the meat, there's a click of a gun, and before you know it, you're dead. 
          
          Why? Is the hunter going to eat you? 
          
          No. They're using your body as bragging rights (aka a trophy). Your pups now only have one parent to take care of them, meaning more of a chance to starve. 
          
          In addition, trophy hunting does a lot to imbalance the food chain, meaning a less healthy eco system. 
          
          This is called trophy hunting, and it happens everyday. Wolves, lions, elephants, leopard, rhinos, and so many other animals are suffering from this cruel sport.
          
          Is their deaths worth a trophy?
          
          The answer is no.
          
          I made a petition about trophy hunting. It currently has 464 signers! We can get to 500. Please sign for the animals.

Happy National Novel Writing Month, everyone! In NaNoWriMo, you set a word goal and write a story and see if you can get to your word goal in one month. It's in the middle of the month, so I'm sorry if I didn't update everyone in time. :( But it's never to late to start! Start writing on word, wattpad, or the NaNoWriMo site, make up a word goal, and see if you can achieve it by the end of November. Don't stop to make edits - save that for NaNoEdiMo - national novel editing month - in December. The month of November to get all your ideas down.

I published the first chapter of my new book, along with a prologue and a field guide to the creatures in my book. The book's called The Five Stones, but I promise I'll find a better name. :) The Five Stones is just a filler name, and I definitely will change it as I continue to write my story.
