Hey guys, I’ve been sitting on a new story concept for a while, and I’m so glad I finally wrote it down. It’s dark, emotional, and a little sad.

          Here's the blurb:
Ximena Torres has three rules in life.
          1. Be a scorpion: strike where they don't expect.
          2. Be a snake: never let anyone step on you.
          3. Be a shark: use their fear to your advantage.

And she's never made an exception. Until Sahara. She was the friend who knew her better than anyone and could see past the walls she built. She was the one person who mattered enough to show the cracks in her armor.

But when Sahara unexpectedly dies, Ximena travels to India to visit her best friend's parents. On the flight home, her world unravels: a plane crash leaves her one of the few survivors. She is rescued by Damon, a Red Cross responder, and Ximena begins to let someone in.

Just as life starts to feel... tolerable, she receives a devastating diagnosis. Retrograde amnesia. Her brain will erase all memories of the weeks after the crash. The stories she's heard, the people she's met, her bond with the boy who carried her out of the flames-it will all vanish. And when she leaves, she will not remember him at all.

The first chapter is coming in 5 days, and I can’t wait to share Ximena’s story with you :)
