I've just worked in a 5 star hotel (for 5 hours) as a part timer/volunteer for a wedding dinner. It was sorta organised by the hotel and my university collabing or somesort. Their time management was bad, staff management was bad, and even the event itself was bad I ran here and there all the time with heels... HEELS... been refilling water, holding a tray of 5-6 glass of champagne, thirsty, tired, feet pain and etc. Had to walk into the event kitchen, it was chaotic. They even wanted us to do half an hour more for the event but luckily our lecturer refused or else we will work until like 11:30pm or longer. Luckily we came back safely at 12:15am and now my feet feels free but I'm physically tired and mentally drained (I've arrived home)

@scaraderer Hey I mean the important thing is you're done and you're getting paid. It's a 5 star hotel right? They gotta pay you well even for part time

@MikailMuqryMohdMusyi nah not really, they will just pay me rm100 for that few hours of overworked as a main server instead of an assistant. But for my certificate of participation then yeah i wouldn't complain much. Its just my first time doing these things in the hospitality industry.
