It’s really crazy to me that if you sue a dead persons estate (you had to have known that dead person) then you can just get a crazy amount of money because you can settle out of court (which is the preferred way of estates as it costs less) like you could be easily proven wrong but that costs more money for the estate whose whole purpose is to protect assets.
