I just posted my very first chapter of the new book I was talking about: VARIATIONS OF INSANITY.
Here is the synopsis: The world found them to be crazy, labeled them Wackos and planned to lock them away.
So Jes built a labyrinth inside her mind, in a desperate attempt to hide from them. But now she is lost and no matter how loud she screams, no one can find her. Time slips between her fingers and the more she waits, the more disconnected she is from her thoughts. Her control over her own mind recedes day by day. The longer she fights, the weaker she becomes and the stronger her inner monsters grow. But she refuses to acknowledge the fact that she might indeed be…crazy. No. She is NOT insane… Yet.
Drake is not mentally unstable, unlike what everyone seems to think. No. He simply morphs into a raging, red bull every time he gets angry, (Which is often). But there’s nothing remotely unnatural about that. Contrarily to the mad freaks in this world, he still has a mind of his own. Yet when he is forced in The Prison For Non Compos Mentis Misfits, he faces the ultimate threat of his existence: Being proved to be psychologically unbalanced. In the bloody psyche war that ensues, Drake knows that his freedom, and more importantly, his wits, are at stake. But can he convince the world of his sanity without losing his mind?
In a world where deficient mental health is a lethal bane and insanity is the poison in the drink, how far are Jes and Drake willing to fight to prove their sanity? Confronted with their most brutal and merciless inner demons, they must either overcome them or risk eternal damnation.
