Heist of Hearts


Synopsis:

"Okay, we're gonna try that once more. Why are you really here?" he enunciates the last few words, as if his patience is wearing thin.

Well, too bad I can't just tell him the truth. I duck and move out of the cage of his arms, my breathing returning to normal.

"For what I said," I smile at him
 sweetly. 

I can see him visibly try to control his eyeroll. Smart guy. He knows I'm up to no good, but he doesn't know the whole truth.

I am here to rob him, and he can't do shit about it.


For seventeen year old Zandria Saunders, "earning" money to survive hasn't been too hard for the last few years. She just walks in, takes what she wants, and you can kiss your valuables goodbye, forever. The best part? No one even knows it's her, ever.

But then she makes one mistake - she tries to steal from Zayne Warner, the golden boy of Ridgewood High. Good looking, smart and too arrogant for his own good, Zayne begins to see through Zandria's flimsy false bravado, her overly sweet smiles that barely hide her inner mysterious self. 

But she can't let that happen. Too much is at cost.
