          	THIS IS IMPORTANT AND STUFF.

Three days ago, Micky left Shortcuts. When news spread at school, Michelle made the executive decision (virtually glaring at you) that because the plot is crud (too much kissing apparently) she's quitting. This soon caused us all to go "BAH HUMBUG" and abandon it.

I personally do agree that the plot is terrible, and that the story is dead. BUT INNER TURMOIL; THIS WAS OUR BABY. We birthed it, and now we're throwing it out. And I'm at a creative low having a crisis (WE AREN'T GOOD AT THIS WAHHH) wondering where it all went.

I mean, some things happened. I met Micky. We realized how deadly a deadline is (see what I did there?). We understand now how confusing a seemingly simple plotline can be. We know where NOT to go with things.

So I guess this is goodbye, Shortcuts. Bye Ashton, Sonja, Jay, Mace, Mr. Ching, Seamus, Trinity, Taylor, Toby, Benjamin, Han and everyone else.

Guys...we don't need to say goodbye to Shortcuts. I just feel like Shortcuts is a plot meant for one single author 'cause it's dystopian and the plot is too rich for a colab. 'Cause with colabs...we can ruin a perfectly good plot in a manner of seconds, but I feel like Shortcuts is too good for that.

Again, we all can do that new colab that I suggested a couple months ago. About all of us having a single character that gives their take on what's happening when it's our time to write. And no deadlines, so all of us get a chance to do it :D

Next time - if there is one - I think that we shouldn't get too attached to the story, 'cause we made the mistake of doing that with Shortcuts D: we created our own individual direction (not one direction sadly) with it and kept on tugging with the plot as time went on.

As Ethan said, we learnt a lot from it :D So it wasn't a total waste right? We learnt how to work together to create a relatively balanced story. SO WE DID ACHIEVE SOMETHING!

Going back to what I said before, how do you guys feel about that other colab idea? We will have six characters with a personality that we will give them in time. That way we can adopt one and do anything we want with their person. Also, that would mean that we will only be mutually attached to our own character - 'cause after all we created them - and no one else's. What do you all think about that? :D The plot will come, and HOPEFULLY IT WILL WORK OUT THIS TIME!

          -MICKY

**IMPORTANT MESSAGE**

Okay...so how do I put this...

Well I've decided that Shortcuts is not for me anymore. Like nothing against you guys or anything but I'm just not good at that style of writing :)

I don't know exactly when Ethan uploaded, but I know that my deadline to post is either today or tomorrow. Sorry for deciding this so late :/ I just can't seem to continue this kind of plot.

Like my problem is dealing with so many characters at once; I just can't do that. I never know where to put them all and I just get really confused with all the subplots and such. I'm obviously not good enough to write it XD

WELL BEST OF LUCK GUYS WITH THE NOVEL!!! I'm planning on doing a colab with maybe one or two people in the future...so if you have any ideas you can just hit me up!

LOVE YOU ALL, AND SORRY ABOUT THIS.

          -Micky :D
