Hi! If you follow me for my soulmate au..... I'm terribly sorry for being absent for a year, practically to the *day*. Life happens, unfortunately, and creative block struck me with it. I've committed to finishing all my pending fics during my summer vacation, however, and my plan has been working nicely until now! I've written an outline for the soulmate AU, and a few chapters ahead of posting, so I'm hoping I'll be able to update it once or twice a week until writer's block hits once more, or the fic ends. Chapters will be longer than usual, too.
          	While I do have an outline, I am amenable to changes. If there's anything you really wanna see in the story, let me know and I'll see what I can do to include it <3

Working on the next chapter of my soulmate AU!
          I have amazing ideas for individual scenes, and an idea of where I want the story to go, but I'm still stumped on a few plot points.
          That's good and bad.
          Good because not having everything set in stone can help me incorporate reader feedback into the story (and i love hearing your ideas!) aaand bad because while i'm writing it can feel like i have no clue what's going to happen or what i'm doing.

@scout_the_healer oh please go crazy with the lore soulmate aus are the best and all but adding more world building characters just makes it so much more immersive and is honestly one of my favorite things to read

@Capegangster and by the way— slight spoiler, but yes, palisman wood and the belladonna business are related, but the name thing was a complete coincidence LOL
            It was accidental foreshadowing in my part. I picked Belladonna for a few reasons:
            
            1- I think nightshade flowers are absolutely gorgeous despite being very poisonous and that theme of outward beauty and grace hiding something deadly fits the theme of the story;
            
            2- I wanted something plant-related to fit the main character, and Belladonna is a word specific enough that if one of my readers is using a word replacement extension to change MC’s last name, it wouldn’t affect the rest of the text;
            
            3- I was listening to “Cantarella” while mapping out the main points of the story 
            
            I loved your theory, though

Oh I’m so actually so glad you’re interested in more soulmate phenomena lore because I have IDEAS and I didn’t know if people would like to see more of that aspect of the story or if I should keep that part of the lore to a minimum!
