watches you from the distance, frowning as tears of hurt run down my cheeks. My beautiful rainbow orbs shine in the dull light of the basement that you keep me in. I watch you as you run away form your mistakes, wiping my tears as I finally get the courage to speak, "I'm hungry.. fed me.." I hate how my voice is so broken up. Your eyes meet mine as we share a knowing glance. My legs shake as I fall to the concrete from being malnourished in your cold, dusty basement. I weep as I watch you leave, my sobs filling the empty basement. My soft pastel rainbow hair drapes over my back as i let out my sorrows, some of it coming to the front of my face to hide my tears. The little teardrops were gold, as I had a rare disease growing up that made me cry gold. You didn't care. You never did.
