            『  a soft smile crept onto his lips, her response was absolutely adorable. he watched her closely, he just couldn’t take his eyes away.  』  “ i can say whatever i want to, especially since it’s the truth — “  『  a small chuckle left his lips and he continued watching her. her reaction confirmed his decision, he was getting that tattoo, he couldn’t care less about anybody’s opinions, the only opinion that mattered was isabella’s.  』

( if she stopped breathing, it would be fully and completely his fault. )    “ good god, ”    ( she whispered breathlessly, not yet looking at him. she’d fully stop functioning if she looked at him. )   “ hush — baby — you can’t just say that — . ”    ( she said that as if she hadn’t planned on doing something similar. )

            『  his head tilted slightly, still quite confused but it was becoming more and more obvious. his arms also wrapped around her, that happened whenever she touched him. he just wanted to hold her.  』  “ because you mean so much to me. my tattoos have meanings, most of them. i want your name to prove your importance to me. “

“ i can’t promise that i’ll be very good at it, but i can do it. ”    ( she hummed softly at his touch, enjoying simply holding and being held by him. )

            『  his head nodded, he had no protests to being held or just simply being touched by her.  』  “ that’s good love. “  『  his arms wrapped slowly around her waist as he held him carefully and closely.  』

            “ you don’t need to thank me, love. i’m doing this because it was the right thing to do. “  『  it really was the right thing to do, especially for isabella and miley, just those too alone made him want this.  』

“ you are a life saver — thank you so much. i don’t know what i’d do without you davi — thank you. ”    ( she was more than happy. she was relieved, and ecstatic and so many more things that she couldn’t even being herself to find names for her emotions. )

            『  davian’s eyes stared at the owner of said voice, his eyes were dark and he looked as though he was about to commit a murder. that isn’t what was going to happen, but easily could have. he had enough of being interrupted, and that was obvious.  』  “ just do whatever it is you need or want to do and get out — i’m busy — “  『  his words returned to being slow but loud, he was busy? sure —  』

( the blonde only nuzzled further into him, pressing a soft kiss on his neck before she could hear the other voice talking. she wasn’t sure what they wanted, but she didn’t really care. she was content with simply being here in his arms. she just didn’t very much like that she couldn’t keep kissing him. she wanted to kiss him so very badly. )

            『  her words caused him a shiver, he wanted whatever she wanted and much more.  』  “ i’m going as fast as i can sweetheart, trust me — “  『  even his words felt fast, which was quite unusual for him but given the circumstances, it made complete sense. he kept quickly working his way through the papers, keeping to himself and keeping quite. how that she was still and relaxed, he could focus a lot easier than what he could have preciously. his eyes shot up to look towards the door as he set down the papers, his arms wrapping tightly around her waist.  』  “ come in. “

            『  she was right to not have given him a ton of the blanket, he certainly would have gotten too hot. he’s always warm, that’s why. his arms wrapped around her as he laid a gentle kiss on her cheek.  』

( the blonde’s body was pressed flush against his, curled up and melting into him as her eyes fluttered closed. she was wrapped in her blanket, putting some over him but not too much — she wasn’t sure if he’d get too warm with a blanket. )

            『  davian watched her closely, it brought him much joy and happiness to see how much her mood had changed, and for the better too. he smiled softly at her, his eyes just glued to her. he didn’t exactly feel the need to say anything, he was just enjoying being in her presence.  』

            『  as he noticed that she had fallen asleep, he let out a silent chuckle, holding her close to himself and staying very very quiet.  』

( less than a fifteen minutes later, her eyes were shut and she had fallen asleep, peacefully. her arms were loosely around him, her head nuzzling close to him. ) o

            『  he nodded, watching his hands as they brushed through her hair. he grinned slightly, of course he knew that she was going to fall asleep, that’s the reason he laid her down in the first place.  』

            『  with a nod of his head, accompanied by a small smile, he watched her. of course he thought all of that, he only spoke the truth. he hated lies, unless they were used for good.  』  “ i promise. “

“ promise .. ? ”    ( she asked, wanting to be one-hundred percent ready and sure. she believed him, but her mind insisted that he was just saying that. it was definitely an annoying thought, and a bothersome one too.  )

            『  his head nodded. every inch of him believed in her, every last inch. he wasn’t lying to her, if he thought she was doing a bad job then he would tell her that.  』  “ i’m very sure, you do an absolutely amazing job doing what you do. “

( smiling brightly, she nodded quickly. )

            “ i promise it. but that’s never going to happen, sweetheart. “  『  he really wanted nothing more than to hear her voice. he loved it, it made him happy in ways that felt unusual to him.  』

( isabella paused. she wanted to believe that he’d never get tired of her voice, but insecurities are hard to let go of. )   “ .. only if you promise you’ll tell me as soon as you want me to be quiet.? ”

            『  with a nod of his head, he looked gently at her.  』  “ you never need to be quiet with me, love. talk until your heart is content. “  『  he meant it. he would happily listen to everything that she had to say, no matter what, he would pause anything to listen to her speak.  』

( she stayed quiet for at most seven minutes. )    “ how far away is this placee, baby.? ”

“ good. :C ”    ( she pouted, clinging on to him tightly. )
