Just a quick heads up — I recently received a suspicious message on my Wattpad feed from an account claiming to be "Wattpad Community Support," saying my account was restricted and needed payment verification within 48 hours.
It was a scam. I blocked and deleted it immediately.
Wattpad will never contact you through your feed or ask for payment to verify your account. If you receive something similar — do not click the link, do not enter any details, block and report the account immediately.
My account is completely fine — all features are working normally. I just wanted to warn you all in case anyone else receives something similar.
However, god forbid if something does happen to my account in the next 48 hours, please don't worry — I will continue uploading on Inkitt and ScrollStack, so you can keep reading there without any interruption. And if you do notice anything wrong or unusual with my account before I do, please let me know immediately — your heads up would mean everything.
You guys are the reason I keep going, so I am not letting a scammer take that away from us.
