Happy WIP Wednesday! Enjoy an original story that may or may not get published. i really don’t know at this point.
Kila huffed in annoyance as she padded around her cave. She had just gotten enough moonflowers to last the rest of the month, and now, thanks to the stupid goblins, she had to go all the way back to the orchards without being caught.
She collapsed on her bed with her eyes closed, so caught up in her own internal debate that, at first, she didn't even realize that her eyes were tingling.
Now, as a sorceress, Kila was used to odd sensations as side effects of her magic. But this was new, and she hadn't cast any spells within the past day, at least.
Opening her eyes, she stood up and smoothed out her flower-petal blankets.
