nick really just hates the turtles because tales of tmnt got cancelled from para/mount+’s shtty merger deal (I have more reasons not to give a sht about that streaming service…)
I genuinely feel bad for the mm!turtles because half of season 1 didn’t have any fun filler episodes that helps gives these boys a break (at this point I feel like some of the nick higher ups cater to those boring cowaboomers euuggghhhh)
Another side note, despite the obvious licensed platformer jank, the tmnt game of mutants unleashed actually made me a fan of the mm!turtles
Like it does a decent job with the story and the side quests being the type of filler episode energy I kind of needed compared to the tales’ weird separate the brothers with one pov writing.
And a nice change of pace of Raph having some smart and funny moments with his documentary trivia than the usual “gets angry I need to smash something trope”. Granted his side quests had a tiny moment where he gets mad but, him having a friend wanting to try the paralympics (also with a prosthetic leg). It’s very much one of my favorite parts of this game.
I was surprised how there was even a new game + mode even being generous to keep the upgrades you have. But I’m mostly replaying it to see the dlc where you help leatherhead and the last remaining art graffiti piece I missed from my 1st run of it
I managed to finish writing a headcanon scenario this week so it might be around this saturday when I upload it
I watched season 1 of tottmnt and while the animation is good, I just wished the dialogue wasn’t “did you just something something” trope or namedropping famous people I do NOT care about. (the 3 mentions of Akira were also unbearable like bruh way to spoil what happens to a certain character) idk I’m on the fence whether to this iteration for requests because it mostly had two serious plots during the 1st half (six episodes and another doing the same length.) like it really didn’t catch my interest as much as rottmnt did :[
I’m mostly open minded whether or not that possibility is bound to happen but, I love how there’s more a range of women towards this iteration. Like leatherbead being a silly gator lady, mm!April still being a black girl, and idk almost most of the women villains being like ‘I cannot stand these literal teenaged mutant turtles’. Like it’s really refreshing imo.
@sealofarchives I can't wait for Shredder to appear in the 2026 sequel. I had so many theories about the first film. First, T.C.R.I, the company wanted the mutant's blood in order to make an army, and Cynthia Utrom must be the true possible villain, however, she is hiding her true identity and her alliance with Shredder. Do you think it will be true or false.

I’m probably gonna repost stuff from my tumblr on the last saturday of this month since my classes just started last week
And might end my various x reader book early since most of the notifs I got were just from my second book
I still get weird people who are into t/cest (shipping the brothers together) so I’m still on the fence about making the third and final rottmnt x reader book here :/
First time I wrote a prompt with the rise!turtles being older (not as old as their bad end!future counterparts) but still. Also the three blogs I found that called out how the leo/sagi ship can get under people’s nerves is such a brave thing to do.
Ngl even when rise barely had any advertising, people just locked in towards that rabbit being shipped with leo and just follow popular headcanons. And I mean the really bad ones that feel so ooc
And the fact some people made ai bots for leo cutting ties with the reader and/or oc shipped with him for usagi.
Maybe it’s a good thing rise is on pause because I hate this kind of shipping energy jfc
Another last note also the fact that some people are pestering the creators towards “what if usagi was in rise question”
They also have the obnoxious shoving down that ship into anything and idk I’ll probably tolerate people who keep writing leo as a jerk more than “please like this ship or we’ll send anon hate mail u w u” eugh
Finished another request on my tumblr side blog (I still need to post the belated mermay oneshot on here but I have two appointments (one today and tomorrow to check up progress on something else </3)
I’m still a bit surprised I got a second request on my side blog after finishing my mermay themed oneshot but, at total of 3 requests (one from here) still feels like an eternity waiting for any new ones </3
