@seanna_445 uhh.. For one shots I think you can take the aftermath of any disaster or a turning point in somebody's life, for eg. an acid attack survivor. You wont need to build up the characters much.
I'm bad at short stories so.. hahahahaha.
Although for one liners, the same goes too ig. Any life changing incident. Or any social evil. For eg... The little boy's eyes shone gleamingly like the scattered marbles he was picking from the road, too blindened by the joys of childhood to take notice of the dazzling headlights, and time stopped.
Or... Anna was scared of pretty dolls with empty eyes and too-wide smiles, until she became one.
