Okay, okay. I have a lot to explain. I haven't been lazy with my writing. Far from it in fact. I've been working on something huge. Very huge. It's hard to explain, but I'll do it for you guys.
I never put much planning into The Fire of Hope. Honestly, that was probably pretty clear in book 2. Sure, I spent a really long time putting the storyline together in my head, but I only actually started writing down my plans halfway through the book. I never asked for feedback, but that's because deep down, I knew it was pretty bad. I was really excited to write it, and for people to read it. T
Truth is, I only started this project so that people could praise me for it. I was so focused on what I wanted to hear that I overlooked the actual quality of the book. The same goes for book 2. But I'm so, so tired of that now. I don't care about praises anymore. I just want to give my characters what they deserve.
So, with that new purpose to wright, I AM REWRITING THE FIRE OF HOPE. I am revamping some of the characters, especially Sorinn. But, this also allows me to not only include lots of dragons but also many, many more creatures. Sure, there was a reason that there were no other creatures except dragons in the original book, but with this new opportunity comes new races, cultures, and a whole new world.
Please understand, this is NOT about bad writing or bad scenes, those could be fixed. This is about The Fire of Hope, being what it deserves to be. I'll leave the original books up here for people to read, but I WILL NOT be editing, or writing them any further.
I know some of you have made places in your hearts for some of the characters, and I want some of them to stay, like, Moss, Searia (now Gwyn), and Cobalt. All of these characters will receive revamps. I know, it sucks. Well, especially for Moss. But this gives me a chance to flesh them out and give them straightforward and healthy, rich character arcs.
Thank you to all my beloved readers. This is for you.
