@FromtheBar I like both aspects, but I think I like what you did with the detective aspect better, because it felt like I was reading the script of what could be an actual Sherlock episode. It's true John and Irene aren't cannon, so that bit confused me a little at first, but then I got used to it, and actually started to ship it XD

So glad to hear you like "Life of Pie!"

FromtheBar

Yeah ... I liked Jude Law better in the movie, so that kind of swung it. Besides Holmes / Irene was too obvious, I figured.

Life of Pie was wonderfully trippy. I was laughing out loud.

@FromtheBar Nice to meet you, too! I just love your Sherlock Holmes book.

Oh, my goodness - I just read your "Life of Pie." It's hilarious! "Slap plastic wrap on me and call me psychic" - that's priceless. Very, very funny.

Thank you, that's lovely to hear, naturally. So are you a detective story buff generally, or is it more the romance aspect of it? (Because, admittedly, it's not the true Sherlock canon).
