Seeing as it’s been a few years. More for personal stuff than anything. Would you mind just commenting an outline of what You Don’t Have to Grow Up included. I’ve thought about rewriting it. I swear I read it like five times and I’m missing it so dearly.

@Asa_Maxwell 5) the summer gets going. I'm a bit hazy on the details. I recall the boys go for a swim with Jay's friends, which Ollie was excited about, but one of Jay's friends picks on Ollie when he pees in the water. Jay is quick to intervene, he's become protective of his little charge. 6) Ollie now trusts Jay more fully, and lets him in on more of his daily routine. Bath time, diaper changes, holding hands as they cross the street - Jay realizes that Ollie really is just a little kid inside, and he starts to love him for it. 7) Various incidents - they go to the store to buy more pullups / diapers, Ollie is embarrassed, has an accident when they get home and feels humiliated until Jay calms him down. They start to feel a mutual sense of love and belonging. Ollie is more himself around Jay, stops trying to hide his diapers / pullups, they wrestle and play and have fun together, Jay clearly more mature, Ollie clearly more of a little kid. 8) more story beats that I can't quite remember, an misunderstanding in the park where Ollie thinks Jay hates him but he was talking about his bully friend, they reconcile, and their relationship is more cemented over time 9) the story comes to a close - Ollie's mom comes home and tries to pay Jay for his time, but he refuses - instead, he wants to put the money he would have earned into a 'Jay and Ollie' fund, where they can go to the movies, the park, etc together because he can't picture his life without his little friend in it. That's the gist, I think. Give me a shout if you ever try to recreate! I miss my boys...

@Asa_Maxwell Hey, thanks for the comment. I miss it too, still don't know why it was removed, but I'm happy that people enjoyed it so thanks for the love. As far as an outline, here's what I remember: 1) Jay and Ollie are both 16 year old boys, Jay is hired by Ollie's mom to babysit her son over the summer, Jay agrees thinking it's easy money and why not? 2) Jay meets Ollie and turns out that while they're both the same age, Ollie is a little bit 'behind'. He's still a bedwetter and despite his protests still needs diapers/pullups during the day to keep his pants dry. Jay is skeptical at first, but Ollie does seem more like a little kid than a peer (comes down the stairs from his nap with a wet pullup bulging under his pajamas) and Jay agrees to take on the job. Ollie's mom then leaves for her trip and Jay is now in charge for the summer. 3) The boys get to know each other. Ollie is shy, Jay is more of a 'cool kid' but also nurturing and kind, and Ollie becomes pretty immediately infatuated with his 'older' friend. Jay adjusts to his new role as a babysitter, changes his first wet diaper, puts Ollie to bed with lots of kind words and reassurance 4) the new normal - Jay finds he likes taking care of his new little friend, changing his night time pampers, helping him with his day time pullups, and the boys bond
