i basically just post these for myself but wow its been over a year and riverdale is over! thankfully choni is endgame and i cannot bring myself to care about this show anymore!! anyways ill private everything on this whole account soon soo yeah.

goddd the line abt queerbaiting had me laughing so hard. the choni treatment was a bit like FINALLY but it’s been all season and the only Cheryl and Toni stuff we get is Toni ignoring the fact that their ancestors just used their bodies to be together and yeah ig heather just confirmed choni endgame.. but it’s more like another whole season of choni slowburn!!! RAS (writer and director of show) has already confirmed in an interview these characters are going to be closeted and will have to ‘find other ways to eachother’ but after a whole season of slowburn with no real turnout whyyy do we have to watch it again probably for it just to be discarded when they get back to the non-50’s timeline anyways
there was an alternate ending where Dagwood and Uncle Frank died and they stayed in the present.. would’ve much preferred. did they not mainly just bring back the 50’s for nostalgia and effect anyways???
Also!! with a show that can get away with literally anything at this point decides to complicate things by making characters closeted in the 50’s??? Like how much do they wanna reset

and what a coincidence that Cheryl’s getting in her next relationship just in time for the first episode during pride?! I like Heather but why do we know her backstory before Toni’s? And honestly I don’t really think she adds much to the story at all? They don’t know what to do with Cheryl and it shows. Heather had one mention 5 seasons ago and suddenly she’s Cheryl’s new love interest almost probably 20 years after they were forced apart and probably 8-9 years after Cheryl brought her up in Pops. Tangs has quite literally 0 chemistry and is the most boring thing this show has ever brought. Both Tangs and Cheather can clearly just been seen as things the writers threw in to make the Choni slow-burn even slower. But why is the first interaction we’re getting between Choni (not Abigail) Cheryl being jealous?? Their best wlw representation on the show and not going to be back anytime soon #bringbackchoni

Like I said I haven’t watched the new episode yet so I’ll probs reply to this but are we really gonna get Choni back just for it to be completely discarded as an alternate reality?!?!?

ok update now that ive finished the episode: my judgment may be clouded by choni but why did i actually enjoy that episode… i stopped trying to make sense of cheryls storyline and Abigail in cheryls body is the funniest thing ever. still gotta be so happy when our best girl Britta saves (Real) Cheryl from whatever mirror dimension she’s in. you can tell the writers have literally just ran out of things to write now but like i honestly like Veronica’s storyline even if it’s just coming solely from the fact that Mark (actor for Hiram) had to leave the show. And Jughead and Tabitha are so great, Tabitha is just amazing #girlboss. The superpowers thing is absolutely insane but honestly it’s working, the show has suddenly just become way more interesting to me. So excited to see where this all goes tbh, and hoping that Choni sticks for s7 This might be it for a few weeks, since I did literally sign off from Wattpad late last year. But depending on how much Choni there is I’ll probably post a excited rant like this again within the end of the season.
un-published my s5 discussions book bc i rlly don’t use wattpad anymore, i had a whole other choni fic planned but my riverdale obsession was short lived and now im back to my opinion on riverdale episodes being “oh that was really bad but let’s not look for logic so this is funny”. so yes i still watch them but i have no motivation to make long explanations, and no motivation to write a story. but i also just wanna say that s5 was weird af. like it started off with potential but then they probably realised it would get no views so they tried to make it its usual “craziness” but it just failed and ended up being BAD. also was sad that there was no gays left at the end of the season </3
if i realise my sexuality in like 2 years riverdale would’ve probably helped ngl. ALSO riverVALE (s6 mini-series or whatver) is going to be absolutely insane so im purely watching it with no intentions of it being good. but anyways, this is like my official sign off from wattpad ig. so goodbye!! might make more updates or whatver but i have no idea what this does
