tell me about your connection to language it's a really interesting question and thank you for that actually I was just having a talk on the way here and it wasn't something that has always fascinated me ever since I was in school you're a kid you don't know why you're good at certain things and actually do math or science I wasn't talented at all but when I started learning languages I realized I had an affinity for it I started learning French or learning Latin or Spanish, I just realized how the setup was and then when I was younger I was fascinated with language as English lessons in school got more sophisticated as a way I guess our primary tool in externalizing is people I am fascinated by the many complex feelings and thoughts we have, and therefore writers who are precise about language. Thinking is profound, and that's why you have writers like Shakespeare or pinter who really understand that the only way to connect with another person is to be precise about language, and it's as much about what you do as what you say. don't tell
