i’ve been seeing a new scam pop up lately of random accounts impersonating wattpad staff and leaving messages on users’ conversation boards asking them to verify their account through a random link or else they’d lose publishing access. just so y’all know, wattpad would never ask you to verify your account through a third party website and on your conversations board. if there really was an issue with your account, wattpad would send an email instead.
          
          keep your accounts safe and spread the word
