Watching a surprise-dropped Jonni Peppers film while in and out of consciousness on a snowy December morning is one of my favorite ways to start the day!

... Some of my stories (both written and abstract) are so deeply tied to specific songs that I'm debating how best to call attention to those songs WITHING said stories. For "Worlds of Note," it's Sir Duke; for "Gillicium," it's Riptide; and of course, for "infinit8ion," it's You're at the Party, etc. In some cases, the song INSPIRES the story, and in others, it REIFIES the concept (if that makes sense)--like a thesis statement, or the song in the end credits. These three especially are SO IMPORTANT in that way!!! I just want to emphasize that to my readers in a way that's creative and meaningful.

In a one-shot, that's easy-peasy! Just include the song and presto! You get your point across. But for multichapter works? Where each chapter has a different vibe, and could very well be inspired by a song in and of themselves, where DO you put the all-encompassing song of the work--your thesis of the story? At the beginning? What if it doesn't have the same impact there? You wouldn't put "Beyond the Sea" in the Prologue of Finding Nemo. At the end? That makes the most sense! However, I'm not patient! Or a fast writer!! I'll find a way, I'm sure. This is the kind of stuff I ruminate upon for way too long.
