And Im sorry but saying love is love in a bio and wearing rainbow doesnt fix anything. it helps no one. Its nice but it doesnt actually do anything. Educate yourself(preferably from lgbtq voices), Donate to organizations that help us, sign petitions to remove laws that hurt us and let people receive justice, educate others, stand up for people, go to marches, write letters to lawmakers, etc. Please actively help in some way this month. I thank and love all of you who do (or at the very least try)

If anyone wants resources or petitions to sign, I can try to find stuff. If anyone wants anything explained such as terms, laws, and situations, etc to them, let me know and i'll try my best to help.

Have a great day. You are loved and beautiful as you are. :)

(part 1)
Happy Pride Month! Wanted to say a few important things.

While pride is a celebration, its also a movement. I live in the US and our rights are being taken away and given back constantly (Some of these have been rejected, trying to get passed, or were recently active but no longer in place)

-allow conversion therapy (fruitless and plainly just psychological torture)
-ban access to medicine and healthcare/doctor/hospital visits (DURING A PANDEMIC MIGHT I ADD
-Ban trans women in sports (just trans women. hardly even trans men)
-Ban discrimination protection in workplace, stores, services, etc
-Allow lgbtq people to be murdered legally with no consequences (Called the Gay Panic defense. Considered self defense and a "justified' fight response to fear or shock. Legal in most US states including mine)
-Ban rainbow flags in government buildings and lgbt page on white house website
-Allow hospitals to refuse to treat lgbtq people across nation
          -Discriminate against adoption
          -Allow conversion therapy
-BAN on healthcare for trans kids
          -Trans not allowed in military
-Companies having to warn people if they let trans people use their restrooms
-Giving long notice if transgender people are even discussed in the classroom
          AND MORE

Please. I want you all to educate yourselves this pride month. Learn about new terms, acceptance, and laws (positive or not) Ive heard too many people say that they dont need to because they dont care or it doesnt affect them. Staying silent and ignorant is adding to the problem.

Anyone know some gender-neutral/non-gender specific names to call someone you are dating? Two of my friends just started dating and one doesnt know what they want the other to refer to them as. (They aren't nonbinary but they dont really feel comfortable with the other calling them his boyfriend and wants a different term to be used.) Anyone have any suggestions? I'm trying to help them out.

Hey! Sorry I am late kinda but I wanted to come out and say this.

It's February which means it is also Black History Month! It's time to celebrate, recognize, and appreciate black voices. Regardless of skin color, all people should be treated as equals. Don't reserve respect and support of black voices to only February. Support people of color regardless of the month, day, or year.

If you want to show your support, there are a million different ways to do it. So many things can count, no matter how small. You can sign petitions, follow black creators on social media, educate yourself about famous black civil rights activists, donate to organizations, make a post on your stories or conversations (like this) about Black History Month, or even simply put something like Black Lives Matter in your bio.

Thank you for listening! I hope you all are having a great day.

also by the way in the country I live in, Black History Month is in February, even though some countries recognize it in October.
