Spoiler for the cruel game was that the main character kills the love interest because he betrayed her for something which was proven that he had no choice but to do, to save someone in the same situation her brother was in! She does this by faking her own death and lets him grieve  and he takes care of her brother and she leaves a note as someone unknown and then takes her brother to finally live a free life and kills him! Very good book the ending is stupid and rushed and makes no sense at all the author had to literally explain it to people bruh
