@Mhizdauntless I completely understand that you’re entitled to your own opinion about the story, its direction, and the characters. Not every story will resonate with everyone, as my story didn't resonate with you, and I appreciate you sharing your thoughts. However, it becomes an issue when different opinions turn into criticism of other readers who are simply enjoying the story in their own way. Everyone connects with characters and relationships differently, and all respectful perspectives should feel welcome here. I’m sorry the story didn’t unfold in a way that worked for you. @JudelineBelizaire Xavier was the perfect guy for her until the author decided to make him look bad for no reason. You'd prefer she end up with someone that nearly killed her and defiled their matrimonial home. I don't understand how Xavier with a mind of his own started bending to Delilah when she was pregnant because he thought he was the father... knowing how deceitful she is. Xavier of all people that hated her became a puppy for her and Seb that was practically obsessed with her became the good guy because you'd rather a woman stay with her abuser because he was guilty than leave and find someone else that deserves her.
