Big job change + vacation + illness = no new chapters for two months? Ridiculous, but true. Chapter 4 is well underway but given how long I've been away and some feedback I've received since chapter 3 I'll be making some edits (starting with chapter 1 tonight) before resuming. No promises on exact date, but certainly before the end of the month. As always, all comments, questions and feedback welcome...

So, lesson learned: before you go promising people a chapter a week, make sure you've got a contingency plan for when your laptop with all your book notes goes blooey. Still, no data lost, and hope to get back on a weekly schedule now. Feedback and recommendations for edits appreciated as always!

Sincere thanks to all readers and commenters so far! New chapter published this evening, and I'm hoping to keep to a chapter-a-week schedule (if not more) moving forward.
          
          Since I'm completely new to Wattpad, and shaking off the cobwebs after many years away from writing fiction, I'd greatly appreciate any and all criticism: positive comments are lovely, but notes on things that *don't* work or could be improved are invaluable.
