WW II was very cruel and especially in 1941 the people from the Baltic States were deported to those camps to Siberia, Kazaksthan or in that case to the Arctic Circle. I have read the book by Ruta Sepetys in memory of all Lithuanians who were forced to go there. Yeah this book is really touching and when you read it you start crying at once because it is just poignant. You will never forget the story about Lina. Honestly one of the best books I ever have read.

@Larubynita I honestly believe !any people were distracted from the baltics due to Hitler invading the Jews and ruta sepetys used this book to capture a beautiful picture and plot line. no other story I've read has done that so accurately and amazingly. so I agree 100% its actually my favorite book
