Does anyone remember a book that was a historical romance about a banker who marries a woman in order to help her out of debt that her family was in because he needed someone who didn't want to go to balls and stuff and host parties? And she wasn't married cause she wasn't interested in that stuff and wasn't afraid to defend herself verbally? I'm sure the Male main character was named jake Mitchell but that could have changed. Think the author has removed it cause I can't find it at all but if anyone could help that would be amazing!!
