          It was so great to watch their relationship grow and blossom throughout the story. The chapter where they spent time together in the cafe, it was like I was right in the cafe, watching the progress and love unfolding between them. I could just imagine what the cafe and tea set looked like, what the tea could have tasted like, and it made me wonder what jasmine and bergamot smelled like together (I just love the smell and taste of jasmine tea!). I could also just imagine what the lake and cabin looked like, how it sounded, and what it felt like to be there. It must have been so peaceful and cozy for Suraya and Lukaiman to take a break away from the outside world.
          
          It was so nice seeing Suraya open up and challenge the advice her mother gave her, and to see her open herself up to Lukaiman, letting him into her heart. I loved seeing her explore her newfound emotions toward herself, what she was feeling, and experiencing. It was amazing to see her grow throughout the story and trying to escape from living under her mother's shadow. It felt like I could empathize with her, like I understood her fears and desires, and what it felt like to be in her shoes.
          
          I don’t even know how to properly explain it, but there is so much to Suraya that makes her so likeable (Lukaiman too) and makes the reader want to know more about them. I really liked reading their love story and I loved their banter too. This was such a sweet love story, and I liked getting to know Suraya and Lukaiman. And wow, that cliffhanger!
          
          This story was great. Thank you for taking the time to write it, it was a very lovely literary experience. Keep up the amazing work!

          The relationship with her mother and the advice she gave to Suraya—wow, I mean, I cannot imagine how much it shaped Suraya into the woman she is now. It makes me wonder what happened to her mother to give her daughter such harsh advice, and to act so cold toward her. For example, her mother telling her that "Emotions make you weak. You survive by being untouchable." (quoted from chapter 2), and "Strength comes from detachment. Love is a weakness." (quoted from chapter 3). I mean, no wonder Suraya was so closed off to her emotions and to love, especially when her mother, the one person daughters look up to, gave her that advice.
          
          And Lukaiman, he seems like such a kind person. He was stubborn when it came to Suraya, but nonetheless seemed like he had good intentions toward wanting to know her despite her attempts to push him away. He was always patient with her while getting to know her and spending time with her. I love how he paid attention in detail to her words, actions, and her behavior toward him. He was a consistent and positive presence in her life, never giving up on her. He is such a likeable character, and the way he spoke to her and treated her had me rooting for him. He gave her his time, listening to her, and respecting her time and space without demanding her affection. He carefully helped and supported her to get out of her comfort zone, and he waited for her and let her take her time to open up and love him on her terms. When he tells her, "You don’t have to be what she made you" (quoted from chapter 4), that was so sweet!

(1/3) I'm sorry it took so long, but I read your book, and I wanted to share my thoughts with you on it. I apologize for it being such a long message, and I hope it all makes sense! I had nothing but good intentions when typing this.
          
          Let me start by saying your writing style is so lovely and you have such a lovely way with words. The descriptive sentences in every chapter really made it feel like I could visualize Suraya's experiences, her thoughts, and her actions. I could imagine the sounds and sights, and Suraya and Lukaiman's facial expressions, their actions, etc. It was almost as if I was watching a movie, watching the story and two characters come to life in each chapter.
