Hey y’all anyone still use this app lol. Guess who’s writing a book finally. It’s not a happy book a lot of things happen in it. It’s about self growth.
But Trust The Process Here’s a sneak peek :
She grew up in a home where love wasn’t something she knew how to recognize.
Only constant yelling. Arguments that shook the walls. Fighting that spilled through every room, loud enough for the neighbors to hear. Words that didn’t just hurt once they stayed, layering on top of each other until they became something she carried inside herself.
She tried not to let it get to her. Tried to block it out. Tried to convince herself it was normal.
But when chaos is all you know, you start to absorb it.
She felt alone even when she wasn’t. Like a burden. Like she didn’t belong anywhere she stood. She kept trying to make herself smaller, quieter, better thinking maybe if she did everything right, things would finally change.
They didn’t.
As she got older, she learned the safest thing to do was distance herself from everything. From people. From expectations. From feeling too much.
-
But one day, she meets someone who makes her pause in a way she isn’t used to. Someone who doesn’t feel like noise, pressure, or chaos is just an unfamiliar calm. And for reasons she can’t fully explain, she decides to step out of her comfort zone.
What starts as something small, something she tells herself won’t mean anything, begins with a simple truth or dare game. A moment meant to be temporary. A joke. Something that should’ve ended as quickly as it started.
But it doesn’t.
It turns into conversations that last longer than they should. Into glances that linger. Into a connection she doesn’t know how to name. Into something she keeps convincing herself is not serious… until it is.
And what she thought would be a passing moment slowly becomes something more.
Let me know your thoughts pls! I’m super excited to back and to write this!!
