Same here . I kind of didn't like that she started the book off with Kai just being mean to Mace . I think he is in love with her .

I think she loves him , maybe she was in shock she probable started crying in the car . He said she is using them but she never said she wanted her vision back , she never asked for anything . I think he just using it as an excuse .
