"I need your help!" Eloise begs me as she paces in front of me. "You've given me a very tough decision to make."
"You know I can't interfere with the story," I say and continue writing.
"Please, Rere," she says. "Just this once."
"Sorry, I can't. Maybe my readers can help."
Eloise studies me and purses her lips. "You're really serious about this?"
"Of course, you can give it a try," I say and I shrug.
Eloise takes a deep breath. "Here goes nothing."
I stop writing for a second and draw out a bar of chocolate. Let's see how this unfolds.
Eloise turns to you with puppy dog eyes. "Please guys, I really need you to help me here."
Eloise turns to me for support and throws a shoe at me when she sees me eating chocolate. I dodge and throw the shoe back.
"Hey, I'm only doing my job." She shoots me a glare and I sigh. "Alright, alright."
I turn to you.
"Guys, please help Eloise make this tough decision. She needs you."
Eloise gives me a satisfactory nod and walks out the door. I breath out in relief and turn to you again.
"You can't actually influence her decisions but let's find out what she'll do in this newly dropped chapter."
I return to my chocolate but you're still staring at me.
"What are you waiting for? Check. It. Out."
And you run off to read the new chapter.
