i held Renee close and watched as she fell asleep. i kissed her forehead and carried her to bed "goodnight love" i then put Axel in his crib "goodnight little man" he made a tiny baby noise as i walked away so i walked back and kissed his forehead. when i walked out i was met with a dark figure. i reached for my scythe but he grabbed me and pinned me to the wall. i gasped for air as he crushed my windpipe "Who ar- are you?" i said struggling. i heard a slight chuckle "An old friend" my vision went dark.
