Quick update
          	Been working a lot on Godeater, not particularly on writing but on outlining. If I want to create an epic fantasy story, I want to do it justice. 
          	I was planning for Godeater to be a trilogy, but the story is too big for that. Now I'm planning for it to be six or seven books long. 
          	
          	Right now the first draft of the first book is not even 10% done. When it's done I want to publish it for real, like a real book. Maybe when it's done I will upload the first first few chapters here as a teaser. See you then

I realised that i’m going about writing my book the wrong way, i don’t think i should do chapter by chapter, i should plan it all out and write it all at once. Also i don’t think i should be thinking about “gaining followers” and “getting likes,” best way to improve is to write for myself. Godeater will be on hiatus, maybe i’ll release the first book on here when it’s done. Until then bye! and thanks for all the feedback

Hi all, wanted to ask a question. What is the ideal wattpad chapter length for you guys? Should it be a certain number of words or should it be as long as it needs to be?

I make all mine 4000+ words but it’s not really a smart move because I’ve been stuck for 4 weeks now LOL. 1500-2500 is decent for most books. Make a decent median.

@shaz360 possibly, since I write dark fantasy i sometimes go a little bit over, but you have to think more of who your audience is. Wattpad readers are mostly mobile users, so 2000 is the sweet spot for them.

@RafaelJeff im reaching around 2000-3000, sometimes i split a chapter into two if it gets two long, i think this will match well with readers on this site

Thanks for the follow. Love the title of your book "The Godeater" ... sounds a lot like "The Godfather" if you know that movie, or Godzilla if you know that monstrous lizard. *smiles*
