            huh.  well,  can’t say that’s my weapon of choice,  but it’s an impressive one.   [ she took her hand as she stood.  the knight had a dent in one of the shoulder plates of her armor.  ]   didn’t realize this was such a hostile town.

[a chuckle escapes her lips as she wiped the back of her hand across her forehead. slowly she stood to her feet as the dust settled and working to roll the whip up]   it’s no problem, those men were being horrid.   [nose scrunching but extending a hand out to help the knight back up to her feet]    my momma taught me how to use this whip when i was a little girl. gotta be able to protect yourself, she would say.

            [ the knight’s mouth had dropped for a brief moment,  trying to process what she’d just seen.  she’d never seen someone wield a weapon of that kind before.  it was a rare sight indeed to see the knight so lost for words. ]   i  ..  yes.   how did you  .. ?   where  .. ?   i  —  thank you.

            you’re right about that.  honesty’s more valuable than gold,  quite frankly.  it’s good to be honest  ..  to an extent.
