It's been nearly a year since my last post, claiming I had returned to the writing scene. Yet here we are. No new stories. No new poems. Nothing. I'm embarrassed to say the least. Perhaps even a little frustrated with how little effort I've given to one of my greatest passions in life: storytelling. I don't want to make any promises I can't keep, especially since a lot of my posts from years past happen at the exact same time of year. It's as if NANOWRIMO inspires me to crawl out from my writing cave to seek the inspiring light, yet nothing comes of it and I crawl right back inside. Perhaps this fall/winter will be different? Time will tell.

Life can be a rollercoaster at times. My last post mentioned my finished piece 'Healing In Hell', which was supposed to be edited and posted by now, however it has not. I will be doing my best to complete this for the end of the summer and update some more stories as well. Looking forward to getting back into the swing of things!

With Nanowrimo officially coming to an end a week and a half ago, it's about time that I announced my successful completion of my project 'Healing In Hell'. This manuscript (53k words) is the largest I've written since last year's competition and really pushed me out of my comfort zone with some rather mature subject matter and concept to boot. I am very proud to have accomplished this goal, but there is still a lot of editing to be done before it gets posted, along with designing a cover. Stay tuned for when I start posting this next piece!

2020 has been one heck of a rollercoaster for me. I don't want to make excuses for my lack of presence, however I do want to say that I am back for the Watty's. I will be starting to re-edit Dead Country: Crossroads (Sequel to Dead Country) and post chapters as much as possible for this whole month. This is going to be a battle since I am late getting started, but I always love a good writing challenge. Stay tuned!

January feels like forever ago, but I'm finally back where I need to be. I'm currently writing the new REM series so that should be ready for the Wattys, and I'm going to redo the Dead Country sequel as well. Hopefully all my computer issues will be dealt with in a timely manner and we'll be rocking and rolling in no time! Thank you again to everyone who supports me. :)
