I can't believe it's been over a month since I posted! Life is one of the many things you can't control. Mine has been a chaotic blur of happenstance that has left me drained and distracted.
In all honesty, the past two weeks I have had plenty of me time. Unfortunately, the boys have not been speaking to me. I've had a few others sparking my creativity due to similar circumstances aligning with my life. It's funny how the creativity train can jump tracks or completely derail when you have so much momentum flowing in one direction. It was the main reason I tried so hard to slam Rescuing Riley out while I had them chattering in my ear.
I believe a lot of writers suffer with this issue, especially those with ADHD. We are either obsessively focused or jumping from one thing to another. This fluctuates from moment to moment, too. It makes finishing a book difficult, especially when you have to split your writing time with other responsibilities. Oh how I wish I could just focus on my writing!
I'm attempting to refocus on Rescuing Riley, but I'm not sure when I'll start posting again. Hopefully I'll get inspired by them soon. My apologies for skipping out for so long. Some of the things weighing me down have permanently been removed and I have time to dedicate to writing again.
Hope you have had a wonderful weekend!!!!
