I had to share this experience on here, as it was the first book signing I ever got to attend. But I met Sarah Dessen!!! For those of you who don't know, Sarah Dessen is a NY Times Best Selling author of YA novels. She's just released her 13th novel, Once and For All (an amazing and highly recommended read, by the way).
I attended her book signing and she was SUCH a sweetheart. I got to ask her a question during her Q&A portion, and after when I got to get my book signed and told her that she was the reason why I am a Creative Writing major in college at the moment, she proceeded to give me advice without my even asking for any.
It's just inspired me that I AM on the right path, despite the occasional bumps in the road or moments of writer's block. So thankful and blessed at the moment, that's all! :)
And stay tuned for Seastars updates, since I know I haven't updated that in so long!

I know it's been ages since your Shawn Mendes Fan Fic days, but I listened to his new song, Don't Be A Fool, and it reminded me so much of it. So, yeah. If you ever decide to pick that one up again, you've got a reader in me. :]
It is! I want to see him this summer, but I'm still workin' on it. No rush or anything! That was just the first story I read of yours (I'm pretty sure) and so I got a little nostalgic. Whenever you do update it, I'll probably be the first reader with like 538362828 comments. XD
@silentgalaxies His new album is AMAZING, right? My friend is luckily going to see him this summer in concert. Not sure if I'll be updating the story anytime soon, but I do definitely want to finish it because I still know how I want the story to end!

Happy New Year everyone!
This year, my New Year's Resolution is to get back into the swing of writing. Here's what I've been up to:
✓ editing Am I Pretty Yet? in hopes of getting it published (fingers crossed)!
✓ mapping out The Pretty Pact, which will be completed in 2017
✓ mapping out Seastars, which I am also hoping to complete by the end of 2017 or early 2018
✓ mentally preparing myself for the Spring semester, where I'll be taking mostly English classes towards my English major!
I am so excited for what 2017 has to bring in terms of shaping my writing career, and I have all of you guys to thank! To every person that has read, voted, or passed along any of my stories— thank you. Here's to more stories to come, and hope you guys are all having a wonderful start off to a brand new year! :)
