Hello, Purva;
Thank you for adding my 'Valentine's Dinner?' to your reading list. I hope you enjoy it, and if you have any questions about it, please feel free to ask me.
This began as a 2000-word entry for a writing contest, and since I wrote it in early February, I've been encouraged by many to expand it into a full-length novel. I'm now working beyond the thirty-fifth chapter, and I'll be posting new ones every two to four days.
In line with your identity, I'll point out that in my last posted chapter, there is a discussion on pizza as they sat eating hotel room service —
>>Half an hour later, Valerie looked up from her second slice of pizza. “You’re right, we needed something simple and quick. Ignore healthy eating for the moment.”
“Not all pizzas are junk food, Mummy. It depends on how you pick the ingredients. I learned a lot about this at the Four Seasons. Like, tell me what’s wrong with a thin spelt crust with bufala, spot prawns and artichoke hearts.”
“Hmmm. Yeah, and it’s delicious. What do they call it?”
“Nothing yet. Maybe the Chloe. I designed it.”<<
Cheers :-)
Michael
