this next chapter might be a bit less polished than the last few, but to be fair, that might just be my perfectionism talking. either way, the chapter after is where the real meat of the story i wanted to write is, so i'll be having a lot more fun !

wattpad's ranking system is WILD it's telling me Cross My Heart is ranked 2 in eldritchhorror, then SHOWED I was, but the moment I view it logged out I'm not even on the list
it's also telling me it's ranked 21 in surreal, which is also wrong
