@shofer23 Oh my gosh, I can't tell you how wide I smiled reading your review. Thank you so so much! You're so incredibly kind and I'm so very glad you like the story and the characters. I totally get your perspective. None of the characters are perfect and that's what makes them so real. I'm happy to know you didn't hate any of them because I think most people don't deserve to be hated. Especially not people who have been through so much. They're only human. So yes, sorry for the ramble and thank you again. Yup, I'm in Asia so won't say warm but dry, yes. I'd love some rain, though. Again, thank you ❤️
@ScarlettBlackDaisy OMG!!! I loved Curing Kyle. I am the type of person who tries to see things form multiple sides. I can totally understand where each of the people were coming from. I did not hate Anna at all in the beginning for being a bitch...I understood why she felt & acted the way she did. I didn't hate Kyle for acting the way he did or for doing what he did. I wasn't sure how to feel about Nate until he talked with Anna outside her apartment when they were supposed to go to a party. He's an absolute jem...even at the end when he & his girlfriend keep an eye out for Anna & Kyle. I am so damn proud of Kyle for not relapsing and for facing his demons. It is sad that his mother never had the strength &/or courage to face her own but I understand that if you've lived that life growing up, it can be hard to break the cycle and all you want to do is numb the pain & suffering you endured and forget. At least she got a little bit forgiveness from Anna in the end. I understand Kyle not wanting to forgive. I makes me warm inside to see Kyle wanting to help others and for being in the right frame of mind to want to adopt & give the little boy what he himseld never had. I absolutely loved this story (that just doesn't seem like the right word but I'm going with it) and will look into the others. Thank you so very much for your work!! It's raining its butt off here in Maryland, USA (in case you're not from "around" here) so I hope you are dry and warm (or cool if your in the southern hemisphere :D ).
