I don't care if anyone sees this. I just need to vent.
Part 1:
My best friend had the fucking audacity to tell this really bitchy girl that I like someone. Behind my back. No, I don't like anyone. No, apparently she doesn't care.
Let's just say that my friend's name is Natalie (it isn't). Anyways, me and Natalie have been best friends for like four years. But this year, I feel like she's changed.
I'm okay with being the girl who isn't super popular but knows a lot of people. Natalie isn't. The beginning of this year, Natalie started hanging out with the so-called 'popular' and 'pretty' girls. At first, I wasn't surprised because I know she wants to be popular, and shes done this before. Then, she started blowing me off to hang out with girls who are as fake as their two-hour relationships. Especially this one girl, who we're going to call Alessia. The first time I met Alessia was last year. We had a group project we needed to do for gym, and Natalie invited Alessia to work with us. However, I was absent the first day of the project. When I got back, I asked what my part would be (basically, we had to create a jump rope routine and perform it). Since they had already choreographed most of it, I stood there and watched my group do it once. When they finished, I suggested changing something. Alessia was the one who responded to me. I don't remember exactly what she said, but it was mean. Something like "you don't get to boss us around. like, you weren't even here."
I'm pretty good at hiding my emotions, but ISTG I almost cried then and there in the gym. Like, who the hell do you think you are?
And the worst part?? My best friend just stood there. She even stood next to Alessia. Not on my side.
It got worse. Natalie started being mean to me. I told her that I didn't like Alessia, and she said something like "well, I do." Then she would proceed to tell our lunch table how she spent 3 hours on FaceTime with Alessia. I wanted to scream that nobody cares. But I didn't.
