BOT cast finally announced and personally along as they potray the characters well it looks okay to me

i definitely agree that they should have somewhat tried to maintain similarities to the book so i hope that he either has it died or a realistic wig because if he looks like marie rather than teddy it does reduce his characters struggles

this is what i was thinking the only thing im annoyed about is joeys actor not being blonde  some people are saying it’s not a huge deal but in s&r6, joeys looks are important due to becoming compared to teddy a lot and him and teddy looking alike so i assume teddy will be brunette as well or the actor will dye his hair??? idk

i am not prepared for the boys of Tommen fandom to change when the tv show is released. I feel it won’t do it justice or satisfy the readers. Especially when it’s such a beloved series already. Creating short episodes summarising over a thousand pages of complex relationships and sensitive/triggering topics will just be poorly written and not have the same impact or representation as the books. I can’t even begin to explain the mischaracterisation that will happen to characters like lizzie and joey. I will try to enjoy the fandom as much as i can before new ‘fans’ romanticise abuse/trauma the characters go through.
