Okay. Chapter 40 is done. Finally. Honestly not really proud of the writing, the entire chapter is mid- suprising for something i spent 5 months on- but its done. 
          
          The next chapter should hopefully take less time, considering itll be a lot more fun to write. Exciting things happening at the hero party.. i rub my hands together evily

Yall, sorry if the writing in chapter 39 isnt as good as the last one. My brain is foggy and im not used to writing these characters T-T well be back to usual on chp 40 when we get back to charlie and slime. But i gotta get this chapter done before i can work on that one, so heres to hoping its done soon!

Sorry chapter 38 is half a month later than i said it would be, highschools been busy sigh. Also almost lost the whole chapter of 5600 words because wattpad was being glitchy, so thats fun 
          
          Really hoping the wait will be worth it, cause ive been building up to this since i first introduced mat pat. Im making his finale heart wrenching, muahahahaha 

Hey slimers! Just a headsup that im currently on a cruise, and wont be back home until after the new year. So, youll probably get the next slime-cycle chapter around mid january unfortunately :( 
          
          I will be spending some downtime writing while im gone, tho, so i hope to get the next chapter done soon! Happy holidays, and happy new years everyone!

As per usual, the next chapters a couple days late, but thats to be expected. Oh but I hope you guys dont mind some Charlie and slime angst! Cause theres some juicy stuff going on with that! Oh and mostly character interactions this chapter, btw. I hope you wont mind the lack of action, ive been stuck thinking non-stop about the different relationships all these characters have. 
          
          Some interactions to be excited for are Charlie and poly, charlie and slime (or the lack there of), charlie and Zephyrous- just a lot of Charlie interacting with people. Also we get to look at syndicate family issues behind the scenes a bit which is gonna be fun to write.
          
          Anyways yeah thats it, i hope to get it done by tommorow, so ill see you all then!

          So, right now, as of october 2024, charlie has canonically become a licensed superhero, met god, saved new york from a world ending cataclysmic event, and also gotten schlatt to text him back!
