Hey lovely people!
Hope you're having a good day!
Most times we pick a book so we could drift off to another world, a world where we aren't ourselves but one that the author wants us to be, searching for the end but not wanting to read it once we're aware its the last chapter. For me, reading has always been the one thing that helped me escape reality. I'd stay cooped up in a corner with a book in the middle of the night. Most of us imagine ourselves as the narrator/protagonist of the story. But think about it this way, how about we stop searching for ourselves just in the protagonist. It may or may not always be the protagonist, sometimes you see yourself as the protagonist's best friend, sometimes their sibling or maybe in some cases the antagonist who is gonna turn out to be this big softie in the end. It can be anyone. The best part is when you find a book that narrates you. Almost every word in that story speaks about you... well yeah I'm yet to come across such a book, but if you've found that perfect story, then feel free to leave a comment on my profile page!
Love,
Shruthi.
