Heyo my dear moots, i hope you're all doing good and are well rested in life right now :)
I have been lowkey absent from here but I'll give all your works a read eventually!
Since you all publish often, i was curious about your writing process...
What do you do? A full proof layout of the plot or do you figure out as you progress?
How do you plan out characters?
I'm pretty curious because i can't figure out my own writing process, it's all daydream planning but frustrating the moment i sit down to write haha
Would be glad to hear from you all!

@studio17 that's cool!
and scenes sometimes pop outta nowhere that's so true, i usually quickly jot them down on my notes app hehe
          	  thank you for replying :p

@shua_berry in my case, its both. However I only proceed to write if I really have a full layout, an idea of how the story will progress. I try to visualise scenes as I write, sometimes they strike out of nowhere. As for the characters, they come to play as I write. I don't really know how to explain it, but it just happens, I guess...

Hey, just wanted to thank you for replying to my post on my message board. I’m really sorry you can relate to this, because it’s such an uncomfortable and confusing feeling to carry.

I guess all we can really do is try to be a little kinder to ourselves, to remember that wanting closeness and understanding is a very human thing, not something to be ashamed of. Even if things don’t work out the way we imagined, it doesn’t take away from our intentions or the care we tried to give :)

I hope you’re able to be gentle with yourself through it too, and that things start to feel lighter in time. Sending you warmth <3

@floreshwa ahh thank you sm...that's so kind of you :)
this has happened to me so many times that nowadays i don't even feel that sad uk, i just sense the distant energy from someone and i stay quiet and distance myself from them instead..
but yes, we can't control how a person feels about us so it's best not to find faults in ourselves for that...

if there's a master procrastinator out there, its me.
i've a fic i've been working on since mid '24. i've got everything planned-plot, structure, beginning, end, everything down to the last detail but its all in my head and half of it in my drafts
idk why but i'm struggling to finish it, like it's going to be 2026 and i'm still just halfway through the entire thing
and i refuse to publish before i'm done writing at least a skeleton of all the chaps
          oh god
          help me
          i hate myself
