um random life update I got a job ???  I didn't expect to land it but letsgo ig???

saw a hateful rat berating Ria (the mc of my ff Cursed) a few days back. two days later the comments stopped. and after doing a bit of a background research on the commentor, I found out it wasn't anything new that they did. they'd done that on multiple fanfics before, another author had even called them out on it.
          
          now, I'm not gonna delete those comments cuz they don't bother me. the only reason I decided to talk about that commentator here is to tell fanfic authors here on wattpad to not take people like these seriously. they might make you feel insecure about your writing just to get attention or make themselves feel better. everyone will have different likes and dislikes, and that shouldn't bother us fanfic writers who're doing this for our own growth and enjoyment.
          
          we're all here to enjoy the fandoms we're in, to indulge in the inside jokes, to enjoy stories, all in a safespace that people like these make it hard to exist. Learn the difference between criticism and hate. Unlearn being an asshole to the writers who're doing it for free for YOUR entertainment.
