          	Okay, first of all… I am SO sorry for disappearing for longer than I said I would 
          	
          	I know I said a month, and somehow that turned into… well, longer than a month. Life decided to get even more hectic, and every time I thought I finally had everything under control, something else popped up and smacked me in the face.
          	
          	But!! I wanted to come on here and give you all a little update because I miss you guys and I miss this story more than you know.
          	
          	The good news is that I am officially back to planning, writing and bullying my characters 
          	
          	The even better news?
          	
          	THE SECOND BOOK OF THE DUET HAS A NAME!!!
          	
          	 RULED BY TRUTH  
          	
          	And honestly? I am so excited for you all to read it.
          	
          	Give me just TWO more weeks and I should be ready to start publishing. I want to make sure I’ve got a good amount written beforehand because I never want to disappear on you guys like that again.
          	
          	Thank you for being patient with me. Thank you for loving Azalea and the Valentes as much as I do. And thank you for sticking around even while I was off fighting for my life against adulthood 
          	
          	I know the wait has been longer than expected, but I promise I haven’t forgotten about Owned by Silence. That book is genuinely my pride and joy, and Ruled by Truth is a story I’ve been dying to tell.

Hey just wanted to say I love your characters and writing. I saw that you commented you’re in a bit of a writing slump so I hope I’m not overstepping by giving some scenarios that would be nice. 
          The encounter with the men gives Azalea a nightmare 
          Theo or the family casually find out details about a traumatic event that happened to azalea
          Theo comforting Azalea
          Maybe Lea being in a bad mood because it’s almost an anniversary of a bad thing in her past. Oh! Or she gets her period that’s some fluff potential.
          (TLDR) Love your books can’t wait to see what you do next these characters run constantly through my mind.<3
